TSN 1050 Playoff Payout
OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
TSN 1050 Playoff Payout (the “Contest”) is sponsored by TSN 1050 ("TSN"). The “Contest” is an on-line, free to enter game, designed to test one’s own prognostication skills when it comes to predicting the performance of various hockey players on various teams in various rounds during the 2014 hockey Playoffs. From all eligible entries received, winners will be determined based on their ability to use their skill and knowledge of hockey teams, players and related rules to accumulate the most Fantasy Points in accordance with the Scoring System as described below and these Official Rules. The Contest will coincide with the 2014 hockey playoffs beginning on April 16, 2014 (or the scheduled start time of the first game of the 2014 playoffs as posted on the site) and consisting of four (4) playoff rounds (each a “Playoff Round”) ending at the conclusion of the final Playoff Round (the “Overall Contest Period”).
The Contest is only open to residents of Ontario, 18 years of age or older. The following persons and their dependants are not eligible to enter or win: employees, temporary employees, interns, or independent contractors of the Contest Sponsor(s), the Contest Administrator and the parents, affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate families (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and members of household of each of the above. LIMIT one (1) entry (registration) per person AND/OR per e-mail address. Multiple entries per person or email address will be disqualified and/or ineligible for prizes.
3. How to Enter
Register by visiting http://www.tsn1050.ca/fantasy and following the on-line instructions to obtain a Fantasy Sports Services Username and Password ("log-in ID"). Please remember your log-in ID so that you may return to the site to enter the Contest, make changes to your selections (up to the Contest Entry Deadline) and check standings and updates during the Contest. You may enter the Contest up until the Contest Entry Deadline. You will accumulate points based on selections you have submitted that are confirmed before the Contest Entry Deadline. If the Contest Entry Deadline has passed before you submit your selections, you are no longer eligible to enter the Contest.

IMPORTANT: to be eligible for the Contest your completed Entry Form must be submitted no later than the posted entry deadline for each playoff round
Using the on-line entry form ("Entry Form") provided at http://www.tsn1050.ca/fantasy select the requisite number of players in each of the position groups until you have predicted the top performers in all of the groupings available. Submit your entry form prior to the Scoring Period Deadline. You can make changes to your selections up until the Scoring Period Deadline. The last changes you submit, which are confirmed before the Scoring Period Deadline, are your official selections for the duration of the Scoring Period.
IF YOUR ENTRY FORM IS NOT CONFIRMED, YOUR ENTRY FORM WILL BE NULL AND VOID. Upon the successful submission of your Entry Form you will see a verification page and you will receive an email confirmation unless you have disabled this setting in your 'My Profile' section. You are encouraged to save this confirmation number and/or your confirmation email in case we require this information later to confirm your selections or resolve any issues related to your submission.

6. Standings and Updates
The updated standings will be posted daily as applicable. Eligible Registrants will be ranked in order from most number of Fantasy Points to least.
Final, UNOFFICIAL standings will appear on-line one day after the end of the Contest Period and, unless otherwise changed, will become final, OFFICIAL standings one week later.
7. Winners and Prizes
1. The one (1) entrant with the highest number of Fantasy Points will be declared the winner.
Tiebreakers – In the event of a tie, the entrant whose original contest registration was submitted at the earliest date (and time, if applicable) as confirmed in the contest database entry log will be declared the winner.
Grand prize: $1,050 CAD
All expenses not stated herein (including, but not limited to, taxes and fees on the prize and other personal expenses incurred in connection with the redemption, receipt and/or use of the prize or participating in any prize-related activity) are the responsibility of the winner.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: all winners are unofficial for a one week period following the conclusion of the Contest Period. In the event you believe that the standings are incorrect, please notify the Contest Administrator at the following e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org within the one week period at the conclusion of which time the standings will become final and official for the purpose of awarding prizes.
8. Terms and Conditions
By participating, all entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Contest Sponsor and the Contest Administrator, which shall be final and binding on all matters relating to this Contest. Winners will be notified by the Contest Sponsor via e-mail and/or telephone, within six (6) to eight (8) weeks after the standings become official. Winners will be required to execute and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability release, and where legal, a publicity release, within fourteen (14) days after issuance of notification. Noncompliance with the above may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner. If attempted prize notification fails or the requisite documents are returned as undeliverable or are not returned within fourteen (14) days of receipt, prize may be forfeited in its entirety without further notice and awarded to an alternate winner. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash and no substitutions are allowed (except by the Contest Sponsor due to prize unavailability, in which case a prize of equal or greater value will be substituted). All entries become the property of the Contest Sponsor and will not be returned to entrants. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to correct and all printing, typographical or mechanical errors.
Online entries by Internet will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, education, institution, etc.) responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Contest Sponsor is not responsible for entries not received due to lost, failed, delayed or interrupted connections, including Internet/Web-server/network/phone-line connections or miscommunications, or other electronic malfunctions, computer or telephone, hardware or software failures, malfunctions, or garbled or jumbled transmissions. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the Contest should virus, bugs, unauthorized human intervention, or other causes beyond the control of the Contest Sponsor, in the Contest Sponsors' sole opinion, corrupt or impair the administration, security, fairness, or proper operation or play of the Contest and, in any such event, select winners, either by highest scores achieved prior to event requiring such termination, cancellation or suspension or, if necessary, by random drawing from all eligible registrations received prior to event requiring such action. All entries become the property of Contest Sponsor and will not be returned to the entrants.
The Contest Sponsor(s) reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant. Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of this Contest is a violation of criminal and/or civil laws and should such an attempt be made, the Contest Sponsor(s) reserves the right to disqualify the entrant and seek damages and other remedies to the fullest extent permitted by law. By participating, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and further agrees that: (i) if legally permissible, the Contest Sponsor(s) and its parents, subsidiaries and affiliate have the right to publicize his or her name, voice, city/state of residence, photograph and/or likeness for advertising, trade and/or any other purpose in any media or format now or hereafter known without further compensation, authorization or remuneration; and (ii) the Contest Sponsor(s) and the Contest Administrator and their respective parents, affiliates and subsidiaries and all of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents shall have no liability whatsoever for any loss, injury, or damage to entrant or any other person or entity, including personal injury, death, or damage to personal or real property, due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of the acceptance, possession, use or misuse of the prize or participation in this Contest. This Contest is not affiliated in any way with the National Hockey League.
All federal, state and local laws apply. Contest void where prohibited or restricted by law.
9. Odds of Winning
Odds of winning are dependent upon the following factors: the timely submission of entries, the total number of eligible entries, the entrants’ knowledge of the various teams and the accuracy of entrants’ predictions.
